It has been quite some time since I have been on the blog. Since August to be exact. We’ve got some catching up to do!

About a month ago I was sitting at one of my favorite places in Wichita Falls with two of my favorite people. We were enjoying flatbread and wine when my friend Hannah looked at me and Maddie and said, “I have several days off in a row in August, and I want to go on a trip somewhere”. One thing led to another and next thing you know we booked a trip to New York City.

Surgery took less than thirty minutes. The Gastric Sleeve is a laparoscopic procedure. The pain was minimal when I woke up. The worst part was the anesthesia.
